Company Background
The Dore Program offers an innovative approach to improving necessary life skills, such as reading, writing, concentration, speed of thought, and coordination. Beneficial for anyone struggling with a learning disability, the Dore Program specifically assists individuals diagnosed with ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia, or Asperger's syndrome. The Dore Program works by targeting the cerebellum, the area of the brain implicated in motor
control, language, attention, and other functions. The goal of the Dore Program is to improve the cerebellum's ability to seamlessly interact with the cerebrum. When this is achieved, an individual can learn tasks more quickly and perform more complex actions, such as driving a car, without thinking. Based on scientific studies and a focus on achieving clear results, the Dore Program entails a series of exercises individually tailored to improve the cerebellum's activity. The program begins with an initial assessment at a Dore Program Center. Considering an individual's personal learning disability symptoms, an exercise routine is prescribed, to be performed twice a day at home. Throughout the course of the program, participants access myDore, the program's online activity portal, guidance database, and coaching system. Progress is monitored at the Center during regular assessments. Each individual will see a different rate of progress, but on average the program lasts between 9 to 18 months. At the conclusion of the program, the participant receives a final assessment. Anyone over the age of seven who suffers from a learning difficulty may participate in program. Currently, the Dore Program operates from Mississippi, Texas, and the United Kingdom. Further information regarding the Dore Program can be found online at www.doreusa.com.
