    As a seasoned professional, I’ve worked in several traditional corporate positions in every aspect of business management and development that just bored me to death. One day I finally said, “Enough!” And today I am the owner of a thriving home base virtual executive firm.I love the fact that professional attire is no longer a job requirement. Instead of a three piece suit and high heels, I slip into my pink robe and fuzzy slippers and pray to God that I do not accidently click the webcam when chatting by IM with a client.
      From project management to automated booking, web research to troubleshooting there is always something new and exciting taking place. I could not imagine being without the informational technology of today, and to think the Internet use to scare me and now it is my lifeline to success.

      If I had to define what makes me excited about my virtual career, it would be the opportunities available to make a difference in someone’s life. Whether it is assisting with day to day tasks or rescuing a small business owner from a CRM disaster, there is a positive lesson to learn. And the reward often is not “financial” rather emotional. It is nice to end the day knowing that I helped a client through a very stressful business decision.

      The ideal client is someone who is looking to expand their business without all of the overhead expense, someone that enjoys his or her work as much as I enjoy mine, someone who believes in their business and knows with the right people on board it will succeed, and someone who is not too proud to ask for a helping hand.
