There are many options depending on how much you need and what the funds will be used for.

Or, you can get out in your community and network - attend networking events and talk with everyone who will listen - you are bound to find local information regarding local investors or partners.

I don't think advertising on TV (where huge funding required) right in the beginning of your business, especially when you are short on finance; is a good idea. I don't have any idea of your business plan structure; however, like Joseph said, get out to people, community based raise is a big help, get to NGOs and NFPs, try to educate individuals about your goals. Look for Governmental policies that go in your favor. You can get a good deal from that too.

Hi Athar, If you had said this to me 3 months ago, I would have disagreed with you. Now.. I think we are on the same page. So I will look further into the ideas you mentioned. I was told that I cannot change to NP now. I'm not to familar with the policys, but since I founded the concept and continue to design things now, I'm not so sure that NP would be right for me. I am keeping an open mind. Thank you for your input.
