I am in need of research help

I am putting together a presentation to a local company on the value of adding my services to their company to provide added value to prospective clients, my question is: Where do I find info on a company's sales numbers before they added a service like mine and then after? I only have 1 shot with this company and want to cover my bases because i think once the idea get's out, it will provide excellent growth so I dont want to slip and have the next guy capitalize on my idea before I do.

If the company isn't public, you're going to have a hard time finding any information on it. The best you may be able to do is go to your local library and see if you can get stats on the industry as a whole or on other public businesses that may be the same size. As for projecting sales after they use your services, once you know current sales figures, you should be able to calculate that yourself based on your own sales success numbers. Good luck to you!
