Has anyone hosted a Twitter Party?

I recently wrote in my Build-A-Buzz newsletter (www.build-a-buzz.com) about Twitter parties. I've participated and hosted a few and would love to hear your experience. Didn't get much out of it but perhaps you are doing something that I didn't do. Would love some insight, tips, etc.

Hi Marina,

I’m happy to see you participating on Entrepreneur Connect, I think your post will be of interest to our members. However, please refrain from posting the same thread multiple times, across multiple discussion groups (i.e. "Has anyone hosted a Twitter Party?").

EConnect is intended to be a positive destination where the small-business community can come to exchange advice. It is not a place for mass self-promotion. When the same thread is posted over and over again, our members view it as spam which can greatly reduce your credibility on the site. You will also receive more centralized responses when there’s only one post.

Your cooperation is appreciated. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Kara

Noted. I was hoping to get insight from a different group but I understand how it could be perceived as spam. Will be mindful of this in the future.

Best,

Marina
