How do you find your passion?
I have so many people ask "how did you know what you wanted to do?" Truth is I had no idea for a long time, I was not one of those that knew exactly what I wanted to do, I have lots of things I wanted to do and accomplish. I always knew deep down I wanted to be an entrepreneur it just took a little while to figure out what it was I should do. The one thing I tell people is to figure out what your passion is and that's where you will figure out what it is you should or need to be doing. What makes you wake up each day excited to go to work? Sometimes it is sitting right under your nose and you never knew that you would like that or you were not willing to give it a try. If you are going to start a business you first have to have a passion to do it. If you don't have that behind the business, you will not get as far as you think believe me. And don't get frustrated if you don't know yet, sometimes we have to walk down a path before something else falls in our lap to make us realize what we should be doing.
Okay, so what is your passion and what would you love to do?

Ashley, I enjoyed reading your post. I'm proud to say that I too am an entrepreneur. I wear a multitude of hats and I have my hands in more than one business. I love managing my businessess. I'm passionate about what I do because it is my way of serving others. When someone is frustrated and overwhelmed, it is I they turn to for advice and support.
I still laugh at the day I said to my husband, "Who needs that old 356 computer? I don't! I will never have a need to look at the internet or use such a thing". Now I have three computers in my home office, and I could not live (work) without it.
Such a great topic and one that I think many people don't know the answer too until they take time to list out what they truly adore doing on an everyday basis.
If you can write down what makes you passionate, happy and energized, when do you feel at your best then it becomes very clear what type of a business you can start to allow you to do that each and every day. I also think your passions change during the various stages of your life and you need to acknowledge that an align your goals and your activities to suit your changing needs. As CoFounder of a tech start up I love what I do but I found very few women in the tech industry to reach out to and relate with so I founded WomanzWorld.com - a blog where I write about my experiences as an entrepreneur to help others, I review great tools and resources that help you run your business and interview other women entrepreneurs to learn from their success. I've realised that is truly my passion and it came out of my entrepreneurial experiences. Natalie http://www.womanzworld.com
This is a great topic. I am currently in the process of accepting enrollment in my Breakthrough Mentoring and Coaching program and one of the areas I talked about was passion. I've found that many women don't know what their pasion is, have become disenchanted with the whole idea and possibly confused. I will be sharing keys to discovering your passion and purpose on my next call http://budurl.com/m8v and in my 12 week Mentoring and Coaching program http://budurl.com/breakthroughnow
