Seniors as Entrepreneurs
Greetings fellow entrepreneurs! Are there any Seniors (50 Plus) in this Group that have started-up a small business from scratch that could provide you with some extra income for your Retirement life? What business successes are you presently experiencing and what questions or problems do you still need to address for your business to become more successful.
Thanks for listening! Joe Wasylyk Seniorpreneur

I keep reading that this group is one of the hottest growing ones. We've been seeking some active seniors to help expand (perhaps even license) our welcome service into other areas. So far, most we've found were less entrepreneurial and more wanting a guaranteed paycheck. Although frustrated, we don't want to give up. We could use some tips as to how to attract some seniorpreneurs to help us grow Welcome Express in other areas.
We have just set up a consultancy service called CEOs2Go. All three of us are North of 50 and have had extensive experience in running businesses at the excutive level. We are targeting young entrepreneurs who could use some experience assistance. We have a unique low cost pricing model that is primarily results-based so our experience is affordable. If you know of anyone who could use our help, please have them contact us.

I started a Nautical Antiques business a couple of years before I retired. It not only keeps us very busy it is a good income supplement and constantly changing. In spite of the economy, which has hurt business, it seems we are on the way up!.

Well I don't really think of myself as a senior, but I am over 50. I started my company NeedaCFO.com last year. We offer online/virtual as well as contract CFO services for businesses. That and my CPA practice are my primary source of revenue more than supplementing retirement.
