Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to start a thread about innovative products and services. Does anyone need advice about patenting their product, regulations, spreading the word about your innovative business, creating a business plan or funding options. Lets discuss some of these topics here.

I registered my company name in my state, but need to go through the USPTO patent process to patent my service. Can I patent the name through USPTO without having a logo? Or should I wait until after my company logo has been developed?
I am no expert but visit the USPTO and do a Trademark search of your company name to see if it has already been registered or shows up as Dead (available). You can give them a call and they can send you an information packet for free. At least they sent me one for a Provisional Patent application. I am still developing my invention so I have yet to apply for Patent. As for your logo, in my opinion, you can always get one later as you develop your business. I have changed my proposed logo many times and have yet to make a decision. Hope this helps.
