You can start by looking at the 12 points of franchisability on the "interested in franchising an existing business" link on my company's website. www.ifranchisegroup.com
If you send me your contact information, I'd be happy to send you a video and additional information.
The IFA (International Franchise Association) would be a great place to start - www.franchise.org. There is also a bunch of good info on our website here: http://wbsonline.com/search/?q=start%20a%20franchise. I think the most important thing will be arming yourself with knowledge about what it means to start a franchise and then go from there. Good luck!!

If you google franchising, there is an amazing amount of free advice out there. In addition Google "women in franchising" which you may find of interest.
Feel free to contact me too though I'm in OZ, but would be happy to connect.

We are Research company that will go out there and look at every opportunity that fits your requirements. We then compile the information in an easy to read format and allow you to look at different opportunities, their cost, benefits, disadvantages and more.

We have found that there is no broad solution for everyone and that we identify the solution for you as an individual.

Ms. Noble,

Franchising your business is and expenise venture that should not be taken lightly. If you have not yet started the process, my advise is to look for a local franchise attorney first. As the owner of an exsiting franchise company I can tell you from experience that there are many franchise consulting companies that will charge you up to 10x as much for the same services you can package and get locally.

I never want to see anyone get burned. If you need more advice please feel freee to reach out.

John
