Professional Background

My areas of expertise in IT lie in Quality Assurance largely in Banking, Security, Financial and Telecom domain.

A small step towards achieving my entrepreneural interests, I did a pretty small and unorganized startup in Hyderabad, India. The start up was related to importing dress material from Rajasthan and selling it to the Boutiques in Hyderabad. I worked on it for only two months and did door to door selling of the dress material.
I was in search of something organized and scalable. Then after a couple of months, I along with my friend did an ecommerce start up in Hyderabad called as gby6.com. We incorporated a pvt ltd company and our work involved right from conceptualizing idea, market analysis, formulation, web development, strategic planning, financial management, marketing, customer support, business development, logistics, inventory management to door step delivery of FMCG products.
During my 10 minths stint as a cofounder of Paladin retails, I have had the opportunity and experience of presenting my business plan to India's biggest Venture Funds houses and angel investors like Helion, GVFL, Mumbai Angels and many more.
Due to lack of funds and not being able to arrange more of it we decided to dissolve the company and currently I am working for Infosys Technologies. I am also working on being a Webpreneur and have launched a website called www.metacricket.com.
For now it is only being done as a hobby, but once it generates traffic, I would like to earn from it through affiliate marketing and web advertizing.

I have joined entrepreneur so as to expand my network,make contacts and enhance my knowledge and leverage all the above in establishing my start up.
I feel Indian start up fraternity is growing a good pace and lots of avenues are available for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their plan. There is a need of organized mentoring from industry experts to young and enthusiastic entrepreneurs in the country. More than the finances, its the knowledge and experience which pays off in the long run.
I wish to share whatever knowledge I have and look for more from you so as to add value to my thought process and inculcate that into my venture.
