Michigan has a strong heritage of entrepreneurship. There is renewed effort to diversity our economy into a wide range of industries. By supporting each other and bringing expertise and resources of the public and private sector to our members, we will build a stronger Michigan economy and improve the performance of every member.

Professional Background
Mrs. Becher has been involved in small business since the late 1970s when she started her first business as an administrative support provider to other small businesses. Through this work she got involved in creating both business incubators and executive suites in the Washington, DC area where she also served in various organizations such as Chambers of Commerce, Home Based Business Alliance, BNI, women's networking groups, and more. She served on the board of the entrepreneurial support services of George Washington University and as a guest lecturer in the entrepreneurial studies program at GWU.
